Release Day for “Operation Valentine!”

If you’ve finished The Girl in the Yellow Vest and are looking for something light and fun to read, my romantic comedy novella, Operation Valentine officially comes out today! Get your e-readers out. You’re in for a treat.

When I was young and single and trying to navigate the modern dating market, (and yes, there’s a few horror stories in there) I used to hate all the hype surrounding Valentine’s day. Mostly because I felt that it just put too much pressure on couples. And if you were single, it just made you feel bad that you weren’t getting anything or going anywhere with anyone.

I guess the inspiration for this novella was all that angst surrounding Valentine’s Day. I’m sure every girl goes through it. So if you want to laugh out loud and groan in empathetic embarrassment this is the book for you. Follow Sarah Dubert’s six week mission to fall in love before big V and meet every one of Perth’s most ineligible bachelors. Yes, she does get a date with them all.

Looking forward to receiving reader comments on this one.

Happy Reading!

A new Cover and a new Contract

I’ve been sitting on this for a while, so it’s good to finally get the news out there.

Firstly, I’ve signed on for another two books with Random House Australia! So that means, that readers will definitely be getting another book from me in 2015 and 2016.  I’m very excited to be continuing my relationship with Random House which has been absolutely fabulous so far.

My other big reveal, which in my opinion, is almost as exciting is that I have a new cover to show you. It’s for my February release Operation Valentine. This one really resonates with me. I love the cheeky representation of the hero and heroine which is a great reflection of the story. Definitely one of my favourites. You can also check out the blurb for Operation Valentine below…

“Once upon a time, there was a young girl called Sarah Dubert who needed to fall in love in six weeks …”

Thanks to food poisoning, broken dates, airport malfunctions and even death, Sarah Dubert has never had a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. However this year she’s determined to break the curse and snare herself a man before Big V. Signing herself up to the online dating site soulmates.com, she begins eliminating possible candidates through dates at her favourite bar, The Blue Saloon…

Owen Black, the handsome new owner of The Blue Saloon, likes his women fast, experienced and temporary. A woman on a mission to find love – particularly one with a six-week deadline – would normally have him running for the hills. So why is he so uncharacteristically interested in Sarah’s search? And, more importantly, the success of her dates…?

I will also be releasing a novella in 2014!

I’m currently writing the final chapters of a romantic comedy novella to be released as an e-book early next year. I am thrilled to be releasing the title and blurb today to whet your appetite for it. I’ve certainly had a lot of fun writing it. I do love a heroine who is unlucky in love and a hero who has “Bad” as his middle name. This one has a lovely Valentine’s day theme, so the release date is perfect for all you romantics at heart.

Here’s the details.
